i blame that **** to first and foremost:
1. the mental midget in ortiz(protect youself at all times)
2. joe cortez, a crappy ref
3. floyd, an opportunistic fighter

in that order that rules out the 2nd and 3rd..ortiz was just a dumbass

Agree, although I mostly blame the fighters. It was a legal cheap shot in my view.

THANK YOU!!! That's the whole reason I started this thread people keep saying he signaled to box but damn I've watched it multiple times and I do not see where he signaled to box. If Cortez was honest with himself and everyone else he would say that he still had them on a break and was looking at the timekeeper letting him know he was about to restart the fight. Once he got knocked down Cortez didn't know what the hell to do and no way was he going to disqualify Floyd so his ******ed ass just started the ten count. That's my take on what really happened.

Hell yeah I agree. He would have gotten frustrated and probably would have pulled a Oliver McCall and started crying saying he didn't want to fight anymore.
