But if people like Broner, with such a bright future, is willing to give it all up just to act tough and 'Be a G', then it's more than just socioeconomic issues. It's a cultural issue, a generation of people who think it's ******g cool to break the law, be arrested, and serve time.

Some people have to choose crime to survive. I'm not some ignorant tw@t who doesn't get that. But Broner is a fully grown man with the world at is feet who, had he stayed straight and dedicated, could have been one of the best of his generation.

Instead, he wants to carry on like some tough kid at the back of the class. 'Screw the rules, I'm a real G'.

It's pathetic. And those who have no choice but to break the law to feed their family would be just as angry at the opportunity Broner seems willing to throw away just to act the hard man. If only they had half the ability or opportunity.

Hence my original post. If you have a choice, then you're already in a more privileged position than most of those who have to resort to crime and don't have a choice. So stop acting like the hard man, wake up and join the real world before you end up on the end of a life sentence.
