Gonzalez is in for the beating of his life. Gonzalez is slow, lacks creativity, isn't well schooled and did I mention he was slow? Montiel will pick him apart and stop him in 10 rounds. I wasn't impressed at all with Gonzalez's last fight. He was confused by Johnson doing a whole lot of nothing. Montiel is simply too skilled for Gonzalez.

it could go either way, montiel will have to box beautifully to get a W which is very possible, but gonzalez is hot right now and does posess power, if i had to pick it would be montiel, this will be his comin out fight in my opinion to show people hes ready for rafael marquez, hes comin out fight should have been againt too sharp 2-3 years ago but he failed to capitalize by gettin caught early and not bein focused and prepared properly, but this time he should be ready, but gonzalez is no pushover.

Gonzales will win this fight, Montiel lost to a Johnson, who Gonzales KO'd in his last fight, I know styles make fights but I think Gonzales has the style to win by UD or Late TKO, also Gonzales is the younger fighter here...also gonzales has slightly the more experienced fighter here, more amatuer fights, height advantage, reach advantage, Montiel cant beat the bigger man here, he looked impressive winning those Super Flyweight titles but he should'nt have moven up...

montiel is a very slick boxer, but he only has to make one mistake for Gonzalez to catch him. should be an interesting fight

i think its gonna come down to experience
and both have limited
but montiel has lil more
i think jhonny is gonna be one of those god fighters that never makes it all the way to the top
he just almost makes it their alot

Montiel is the better fighter overall but Jhonny is the bigger man and is the more powerful man.

If Montiel gets drawn into a punchers duel he'll be taken out. I just think Gonzales' natural size/strength advantages are going to get him the victory in a close bout.
