I had Mr. Lopez, as well. Teddy thought the 1 judge that scored for Lopez was crazy though LOL. I disagree, but Close Fight regardless. Can't really argue either way.

don't agree with that. perez was clinching the entire time, his punches were not carrying anything and got beat up and hurt every time lopez got close

I agree with u. Had It even going to the 10th. I thought Lopez pulled It out, but was close regardless so can't really argue. Now looking forward to Andre Berto on Sat. Night! Night all!

I guess the difference came in the middle rounds. I thought the pitty pat punches that were mostly glancing from Perez didn't do enough to overcome the handful of shots that Lopez landed that seemed to shake Perez up every time. Let those 2 do it again, who else are they going to fight? Lol

I could see giving it to Perez, Lopez just let too many rds slip away. However, that one wide score for Perez was insane.

But you can't put him in with any kind of contender, so maybe you could sacrifice him to an up and coming prospect, but who does GB have at 140?
He got very lucky if that eye swells up 1 or 2 rounds earlier it's a tko for lopez. Not sure what you do with Perez probably gonna get 1 more big fight but I can't see him winning it. This fight left more question marks then answers for him. Lopez future might look brighter despite losing the fight.

Maurico Herrera vs Perez might be a good fight. Or golden boy might feed him to one of their young guns to make a name off.

That's what I was thinking, but then I couldn't think of any GB prospects at 140 aside from Orozco
