Unnecessary Rematch
This fight is a waste of time. Loma only fights twice a year when he should be fighting 4 or 5 times a year. Wasting a fight on Salido when we all know that a rematch would be one-sided. He should use all his efforts into fighting other champions. He should list the Salido loss as much needed experience. He gained more in that loss than he would of gained by an easy win (which he thought it was going to be). He gained the experience of how much different the pros are from the amateurs. I think in that one loss he gained the experience equal to many more fights.
And if I were Salido I would not take the rematch, he is older and has much more wear and tear on him now. He just cannot win. Let the old pro have this win without trying to denigrate him. It is just that some people like those at HBO hate the fact that this wily old Mexican veteran was able to beat their "golden boy". It is not like the loss makes Loma any less of a fighter or impedes his very promising future in any way.
