    Does boxing need more rivalries>?

I'm talking hagler-leonard and manny-floyd type rivalries. I feel like the rivalries made each boxer in a way. They also appeal to casuals and make boxing appear interesting from a distance.

Garcia-thurman looking to be a rivalry
    Garcia-lomachenko maybe?
Ward-kovalev is probably the best rivalry in boxing right now.
Frampton -cruz would be cool if cruz will go to ireland for the 3rd fight.

Wilder-Joshua need to act like they hate each other and start twitter beef.

For sure there needs to be more compelling rivalries...
That's one thing that draws consistent interest... The undercard to rivalry matches also allows considerable exposure to up and coming Fighters...

The promoters need to better understand that there's more than just the headliner to promote... It's almost a afterthought... On the undercard, there seems to be a effort to promote a potential opponent for the headliner... But not enough weight to showcase the newbies if there's significant risk to headliners...

But it seems that the "0" is more important than the compelling but risky matchups...

The best rivalry right now is the race rivalry. These better than thou's try to say it's a bad thing. But it's really not. Race, tribalism, is great for the sport

Rivalries help but they are naturally formed when the sport is structured to offer a consistent schedule of compelling matchups .

Rivalries are near dead cause everybody getting money everybody happy so its no need to be a champ when your also getting big money with out being a champ

Canelo is just a draw and hes the most popular boxer right now, hes not even a true champ
