I would favour DeGale against any version of Froch.

Degale gets hit too much to last 12 with Carl

It's a tricky one with James. When focused he looks brilliant to me. He always starts great. He is a switch and he also has a great inside game. Very tricky with the angles he uses. He is quite quick as well. He is obviously more talented than Carl.

The problem is, he can't stay focused. He needs to go into a war, without any need. He has a good chin, so it's not like Groves as soon as Froch started landing.

I think if he ever faced Carl, he would respect him through whole the fight. Carl has an amazing reputation among all 168ers in the UK. He won't stop Carl but he would decision him IMO. Only way I see Carl winning is by a stoppage, and I don't think that's a likely scenario.

Degale's gas tank lets him down and he just takes too many rounds off. He's certainly got more finesse but Carl would just keep coming. Late rounds TKO for Froch IMO. I watched Degale struggle with Porky Medina, man.

I agree that it all depends which DeGale you look at. At times he looks like he can be beaten Khan and sometimes I think he is a top PFP fighter.

It's a tricky one. Best of James beats best of Carl IMO.

Btw, I would also favour James over GGG.

Rhinoplasty healing takes a minimum of two years to heal. Not the physical appearance of it but internally. I doubt Froch wants to get his nose punched in...

Froch never doubted himself. Even in the last round down on the cards. Froch would always bring it.

Thing is with Degale while he can look brilliant I don't think he ever looks brilliant for an entire fight... always there seems to be rounds off and usually a decline in the later rounds, whereas Carl often pushes the pace hardest in the later rounds when he knows his opponent is tiring. I see (a primeish) Froch pulling from behind to a late stoppage or finishing strong for a PTS win.

GGG - again predicated on Degales performance against Porky I was thinking that Golovkin's sustained pressure and greater accuracy (vis a vis Medina) would bring him the victory, though following GGGs performance against Jacobs I'm not so sure - 50/50 kinda a fight for me now.

Yes yes I agree there. Just attention seeking again. As I've said before he will announce a comeback on Joshua v klischko night coz he ain't attention. He couldn't beat everyone when he was fighting. Was extremely lucky against Taylor.
