Nothing but the same niñas complaining like always. 36 year old out for 2 years is going to fight a come forward pressure fighter with a high knock out percentage and granite chin, yet it's not good enough. Realize the irony of bichen about a guy who pretty much fought everyone, because you want him to fight a guy/guys who have fought no one. And skip over the part that Rocnation pretty much confirmed they have 2 big fights lined up after this one if Cotto fights in the fall and in 2018. The only problem I have with this is, if Cotto was going to fight someone like Komagai as a tune up, he could have done it last year.Comment

He was trying to get a tune up showcase last year and kept going through a list of names that fell through. I know of one big fight he was trying to make in between all the mess of names was the Marquez fight, they spent months haggling but couldn't agree on weight. Lol, then finally Kirkland came through and then that got cancelled and thank goodness because that was definitely not a PPV fight. They would've bombed big time. So now finally Kamegai. They're settling on him because there is nothing else. And as you say, it's not a bad choice all things considered.Comment

What I mean is that you missed MY point. I was commenting on Jason Shaw's ALL CAPS approach to commenting...it had nothing to do with the substance of his post, so your "LMAO" was a little misplaced.Comment

I like this fight, AS LONG AS COTTO DOESN'T ADD A CATCH WEIGHT! Kamegai is coming off a w and he is tough as nails. Cotto never has it easy when he goes against a come forward pressure fighter. So yea this one is better than Krikland for sure. But please no catch weight!
