    Need assistance quick!!!

Alright guys...I need some help buying some equipment. I was challenged this weekend to a 4 round boxing match (back-yard style) with some fools at work. I got mouthguards and whatnot but I need some advice on gloves. I have 2 pairs of Century 16 OZ training gloves but I want new ones because last time I cracked someone good with a right hook, my wrist hurt. I have two options...the Everlast 2216 Pro Style Training Gloves or the Everlast 2966 Traditional Boxing Gloves...which should I use?! Amatuers please respond

Your going to get your ass kicked so just save the money and wrap toilet paper around your hands.

If you hurt your wrist the what glove you where will matter little. Either you keep your wrist straight and firm or you bend it when you punch. Throw proper punches and your wrist will be fine. Going out and buying new gloves will just be a waste of money.

No glove is going to help if your impacting with your wrist bent, even so slightly. Its all in the form when throwing the blow, proper motion, proper trajectory and proper positioning of the wrist.

Keep it bent and you could break it no matter what glove your wearing.
