he's gonna pay no doubt about that. He don't have a choice. You know damn well he's gonna make more than 8 million on the chavez fight alone. But i don't know how many appeals he gets or how that works. But if and when all his appeals are exhausted and if he the verdict isn't in his favor then yes he'll definitely pay up. Well Oscar's lawyers weren't that bad. They got Golden Boy promotions off the hook. Either way Canelo was gonna end up paying something. He had a signed contract and he broke it and we all know once you put your signature on a paper your pretty much ****ed! So I don't think the lawyers did a bad job considering the plaintiffs wanted over a hundred million in damages

Child support and paying a debt are 2 different things and you are phuking idiot for comparing the 2. There are millions who owe credit cards in this country and don't pay whether they have the money or not. Floyd was worth like 100mil and wasn't paying his taxes and long after he was ordered by the IRS to pay millions still refused to pay until the last minute. There are fools who have racked up parking tickets and still don't pay. Doesn't mean you don't have the money some people just like phuk you I'll pay you when I feel like it mentality. Canelo either trying to use legal measures to avoid or delay it or is on some phuk you I'll pay when I feel like mentality. Not paying your own kids is totally different then paying a credit card bill. That's what this is to a man who makes over 8 figures every time he fights.

i meant against haymon in court... Oscars case was so bad that the judge was pissed at his attorneys.... The judge kept saying over and over you have filed this huge ass lawsuit and yet you have not even proven one bad thing against haymon.... He said only thing you have proven is that haymons business is hurting yours.... That has nothing to do with ali act... So im guessing oscars california attorney just sold oscar a bill of good he could not deliver...

It pretty much depends on when they start to count interest payment. According to GBP website they signed a promotional contract with Canelo in January of 2010 - on boxingscene it states this happened in 2011.

The remedy is to fight Golovkin in September on a percentage split basis -rather than a guaranteed amount of change that has previously been offered.

I don't know much about the lawsuit or the reason for it to comment on it. I did see all the transcripts here on boxing scene and It was too ****ing long so I didn't bother reading it

one of the biggest take aways form the lawsuit was that according to golden boys own financial expert 95% of fighters on their roster are money losers....
