Wladimir Klitschko has always been mentally weak.

      Elroy returns!

And, yes, this is pure bait.

Wladimir punched himself out against Brewster; there was no 'mental' weakness.

As for Fury, perhaps, but I doubt it stemmed from the fight. Wladimir's wife was suffering from severe depression, and their marriage was apparently on the rocks. Nice that you gloss over that...

Maybe Wlad's era wasn't the best but this is boxing, regardless of competition you don't dominate your division for a decade if you're mentally weak. Maintaining dedication and focus while you're already on top and successful might take more mental strength than dragging yourself through a rough fight.

For the good of the sport of boxing we need to see Klitschko lose and retire this upcoming Saturday. As a previous poster stated. Just imagine him as a champion again, jabbing and grabbing, back on the old jab and grab campaign. Please god NO. We need Knockouts and excitement. Not Knockouts from leaning on and grabbing and holding your opponent for 10 rounds. Klitschko is a good old guy but we need him gone for good.

anyone who grabs hold with both hands to limit their opponent is mentally weak

anyone who grabs hold with one hand and hits with the other is a slick boxing god
