It's the other way around Chavez Jr been jealous of canelo because he came from nothing and earned his name. Jr saw canelo as a threat because at one point he was the guy that was handed everything from his daddy and supposed to become the biggest Mexican star. The spoiled brat was born with a silver spoon in his mouth but not work ethics or hunger. couldn't handle canelo who came from dirt poor and actually had skill and determination not just a name. Canelo took the spot Jr thought was his birth right and been jealous ever since.
