We all know who is usually in the negative boat....the same crowd that thought Pac could beat Money May (got beat 10-2), the same crowd that were saying SOG was scared of Krying Kitty Kov B4 the first fight, after he got up in the second round and didnt stay down, because he was soooo terrified of Kitty, then when he signed the rematch clause....OH now he's really scared
The ones that say an MMA guy (with 0 proffesional boxing matches) can beat the greatest boxer of our generation, and so on and so forth.
we know who you guys are

No network is looking to be to the rival of SHOBOX or Friday Night Fights. The are not enough hardcore boxing fans to succeed. I think PBC should stay with Showtime/CBS and maybe FOX or Spike. They need to narrow down the networks, the only problem with that is that they will need more dates because Haymon has so many fighters under his umbrella! Thus far in 2017, PBC is the face of boxing!Comment

Seriously, why is this even a debate? Why wouldn't someone want more boxing on free television? Why does this deal ending make some people happy? I am genuinely perplexed.Comment

The success of recent PBC fights likely priced Spike out. Surely there were escalators in the extension that they didn't believe were worth pushing Bellator back for. Good business decision.Actions are exactly what I'm looking. Spike was actually paying PBC unlike other platforms. With their recent restructuring these decisions make perfect sense. But the boxing community (around these threads) thinks about the sport in a vacuum. Its the same with the HBO situation. The fiscal decisions are made with more than boxing in mind. This isn't about "fight quality". No high quality fights will ever be on Spike w/ CBS in the picture. It's simple; Viacom has a business it owns that's cheaper content that they intend to build. They have a PPV coming soon.Comment
