Comments Thread For: Ricky Burns: Forget Josh Taylor, He Won't Even Beat Ohara Davies

Ricky Burns has told Josh Taylor to forget about fighting him as he plans his return from his super-lightweight unification defeat to Julius Indongo on Saturday night. The 34-year-old had put his WBA belt on the line with the unbeaten Namibian putting his IBF and IBO titles up for grabs at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow and the African proved too good over 12 rounds before taking a unanimous points decision.

With the likes of Taylor, Cattrell & Davies thing look pretty good in the UK @ 140Lb. Let's hope the contests that should happen do happen!

Youd suspect Flanagan will be there soon too, before the end of the year. Think hes only got one fight left in him at 135. Crolla aswell. Probably domestically the best weight class, plenty of good fights. But as you said getting them to fight each other is the problem.

Unless the WBO title becomes vacant I can't see FW letting Flanagan move to 140Lb. What I also can't understand is why FW & TF want nothing to do with Robert Easter.
