We don't talk about this enough IMO. When we denigrate fighters and call them cowards we obfuscate this side of the sport. People die, people get hurt, and anyone that steps into that squared circle deserves our appreciation. It happend do quickly too, he definitely looked like one of the future studs of the sport.

I remember watching the fight and thinking those rabbit punches were starting to add up, I thought the Ref did a horrible job. I feel bad for him and his family, good luck to them.

He did look better there though, like he was somewhat aware of his surroundings, whereas the older videos he was totally unaware.
