One thing Im wondering about is who is selling the Cotto fight? I ask this because when I watch HBO fights, they always talk about the Hopkins fight but never mention the Cotto fight so I take it that there not the one's behind it.
This also sucks because does this mean that we all have to by the Cotto fight? You know they will show the Hopkins fight the following week but who will show the Cotto fight if HBO is not behind it? This fight is not on Showtime is it? I dont think it is. It must be independant.
So my question is does anyone know who is behind the Cotto fight and will it be shown the following week? If not then this sucks for boxing fans.
I also wanted to talk a littile about the Hopkins-Tarver interview last week on HBO. Now I usally dont care if one guy does alot of trash talking and the other guy doesnt say much because thats not alot of guys style and it doesnt look bad if the guy says nothing back but this case is different. Hopkins has always been known as a bully and a big talker but he basically let Tarver punk him. Ive never seen X let anyone talk to him like that without saying much back. I hope he hasnt turned like Tyson, and gets soft acting after he lost a couple of fights.
I dont think it will effect the way Hopkins fights but it does have me wondering if he has gone a "littile" soft and may not have much fighting in him anymore
