surely with the controversy of the first fight and the 3 american judges, its reasonable to have neutral judges. even before the first fight i made a thread saying it seemed crazy to have 3 american judges for a fight between an american and a russian, to repeat that again would be ridiculous. Even if people think the first fight wasnt a robbery, does it not seem ever so slightly bias that in a close fight all 3 of the americans went for the american fighter? And the thing is people moaning saying kovalev has to accept the american judges, would be the first ones moaning if all three of the judges in the brook v spence fight are from england.
Should there be neutral officials for Kovalev-Ward II?

Kov's whining needs to be put to a stop, it's childish. Controversial decisions happen all the time in boxing, and they don't justify a wholesale ban on judges from a country. Kov and his supports need to get over themselves. Kov needs to come with the mindset of taking it out of the judges hands, like Indongo did yesterday in Scotland.Comment

I can see no reason 3 neutral judges from countries other than the USA and Russia would not be better and more fair than 3 judges from the USA who could possibly be influenced by USA networks or USA promoters. A good referee from a neutral country would also be best. Do I think judges and referees can favor a boxer? Hell yes. I have seen it happen way to many times. Foreign boxers get badly robbed in Germany, UK, USA and other places quite often.Comment

Look at the judge's scorecards in the Burns fight yesterday. One judge scored it 120 to 108, a complete shutout. That was probably the correct score. Another judge had it a fairly close fight at 116 to 112. It's obvious he was trying to make Burns the winner but the fight was so completely one sided against Burns that he couldn't do it.Comment
