Definitely cringe myself a lil re-watching that ad that I've forgotten about by now, but its not like there isn't something to this sorta hype for fights to attempt to make it bigger than just a boxing match. Floyd vs Shane is the 5th biggest boxing PPV of the last 10 years & its still tied for 9th all time.

So while I'm still not a fan of Canelo vs Chavez Jr I think Oscar is working an intelligent angle here with getting people seeing this as more than just a boxing match to more people. Although granted just because its already two Mexican guys fighting on Cinco De Mayo thats already accomplished to some degree, but I believe you can always go bigger.

You could be right but a lot of people really do not like having politics shoved down their throats when they are just looking for entertainment, it seems like politics are being forced on people more and more where it really has no place.

Does this look like a political ad to you? All the overwhelming majority of people are gonna see is this ad. The only people who care about Oscar's words with this anti-Trump thing are the people who are for what he's selling or a handful of political nerds who make everything about politics anyway.
