Other fighters have beaten lesser P4P opponets and got their place, beating Tszyu(IMO P4P number 2) should get him decent ranking and respect.

dude, no where near the top 5 ... **** the top 10 ... dude you need longevity, good opposition and champoinship calibre intangibles, esse. theres no WAY you can tell all that from hattons first test to put him at #3. there's no way a win over KT would warrant placement above pac, wright, barrera, corrales, judah, johnson and morales.

If people are going to humor me with the idea of Hatton beating KZ then I will humor them with a top 5 ranking for the lad.

On the real, tho, if he does beat Kostya he deserves to be at #10 at least. Tarver broke on the scene for beating Roy, why can't Ricky bust on the scene if he beats Kostya? No higher than 10, tho.

If Hatton beats Tszyu I would place him at the 10 spot and he would gain back some of the respect I had for him when I first started watching him fight. I don't see that though. Kostya by decision.

tszyu will stop hatton, but win or lose, hatton will still need to come to the states no matter what!! the money and big fights will be here. not everyone is going to go to england!!

IF Hatton is able to beat KT I don't think there is any doubt that he will gain respect as a boxer. I don't think you could put him up in the top 5 #for#, but he would definitly have to be classed as the top 140 pounder. If the fight goes to the cards and he gets a hometown decision, I think that Frank Warren and by default Hatton will lose all credibility and he will be forced to fight in the US, because KT would be the last person to go over there, Title or not.

Personally I feel that KT will win by late round stoppage, but win or lose I think he is going to 147.

Jose, a few of the generally recognised top 10 on this forum have had just that, 1 good win, and arguably some haven't even had that.

Put it this way, how many of your top 10 have beaten someone of KT's calibre? Not even BHop has if you don't count him beating up on smaller guys. Hatton should easily be classed as top 10 if he wins because it will prove he's the real deal.
