Is Indongo Crawford's biggest threat at 140?

I think Crawford is facing his biggest test at 140 in his next fight against Felix Diaz.
I truly believe Crawford would spark Indongo. Although Indongo throws a lot of punches, most of them appear to me to be looping shots. I see Crawford firing a straight shot down the pipe when Indongo throws one of his looping shots and Knocking Indongo the Fcuk Out/

That's how I feel too but at the same time I'm quite impressed with Indongo. He's tall and seems quite awkward, he has a good jab and knows how to use his height and reach advantage. I think it's a good match-up and I can see Indongo have some success in the early rounds before Crawford start to adjust and adapt.

Should be interesting to see who Indongo takes on next.

I just heard about what he did to Burns. So I have to change my opinion to HELL YES, he is Crawford's biggest threat. Let's get it on. If they fight I'll bet my money on the Namibian.

Everyone still mentioning Felix Diaz, I just don't know why. Did anyone see how light punching Peterson was viciously catching Diaz with body punches and uppercuts when ever he wanted? I had trouble counting which uppercut Peterson missed. There was also left hooks that Diaz had no care for, they were just blatantly landing but since Peterson can't really punch they didn't matter. Close fight but I think it was close because of Diaz' lack of defense.

I think this is a mismatch and Diaz shouldn't even be at 140, he should make a stronger effort to make 135. TC will KO him, he's too big, has ALL the physical advantages, and has the power advantage, AND he can box too, it's not like he's some oversize brawler or something. Very weird that some people accused TC of ducking Diaz.

If Felix Diaz proves me wrong, that would be great considering he's a countryman, that would be a huge win. But I just think he's so physically out of this fight and just doesn't have the power to compete like a short Mike Tyson did at HW or like Khurtsidze can compete at MW.

Mad respect to Indongo btw. Indongo went to Russia & destroyed Ryabinsky's undefeated guy. Indongo went to Scotland & schooled Hearn's guy. And now he's probably gonna be going to Nebraska or Vegas for Arum's guy, Crawford.

Win or lose to Crawford mad respect to Julius Indongo for traveling the world fighting the best guys in his division. Virtually no one does that in this era & this mfer straight outta nowhere, Africa is making the most out of every opportunity he's getting. I can't envision he beats Crawford, but I'd f#cking love to see it just cuz it'd be such an amazing story in boxing & a great achievement for this talented young cat.

Also mad respect to Indongo for helping me win a very nice pile of money this week.

I was quite unimpressed by what i saw of Idongo. I tought it was mostly Burn that looked scared/not willing to fight/washed out/out of shape.

I see in Idongo a very athletic 140 pounder, but with low boxing IQ, very predictable. Jab Jab, homerun shot. Jab jab homerun shot. His technique seems to be lacking, especially his big left hand, he throw it so wild and commit alot doing so. He did that all night and i could tell he was slowing down. He always felt the need to press foward with that same combo even when he could have hold a bit.

Basically, when he face Crawford, he's going to get countered pretty hard, and when he get caught, he will start to hesitate because he will feel Crawford power. Then he's done, because he rely on wild agression, if he gets into Crawford game, it's GG.

He could possibly be the biggest "threat" if you want to call him that, but Crawford whoops up on him. He put on a great performance today; however, Crawford is on a much higher level than Burns is.

Thanks for this. He put on a great performance today a champions performance. Neutralized Ricky totally, but this was a horrible style matchup for Ricky. Bud makes people pay for missed opportunities.

I don't see his boxing iq lacking as he dictated space well, dominated tempo, met burns circling with opposite hand shots, feinted effectively, went to the body early to sap Ricky's energy, and took what Ricky gave him. These are all tactics of a seasoned boxer. He just has a bit of a lack of discipline with his falling in after punches.

Crawford matches him for size and strength and has different levels to his game.

If Crawford beats Diaz then he has to go to 147 to get the money and a good fight.

Indongo has some good fights with Boner (if he can get down to 140),Orozco would be a good fight too.
