Rigo should move up and fight Loma, to the right to even mention his name along with Loma!!! forget about p4p
EXACTLY my sentiments.
I would love to see a Floyd-like runner like Rigondeaux face a guy who is so fast in both legs and hands that he will not be able to run away from. And most of all, I'd love to see him ending a fight completely beat up, swelling, really damaged, even if he doesn't get KO'd.
Sorry for the rant, I just detest "defensive" fighters who are actually runners and tricksters, the likes of Rigo, Lara, Floyd in his time...
I don't care what ward says. My #1 P4P is the Great Amir "King Kong" Khan. #2 is the 2nd Great Kell "The Kellog Man" Brook. They fly like a butterfly, sting like a bee, and fall like a log. They are the greatest of all time.
All of that nonsense because he gave his p4p list.... Really, how can you have genuine hatred for someone WE all know, you do not know??? I thought most people would be glad the rematch was happening and you so called boxing fans know that negotiating a lovely fight is not a over night process - just because Kov is getting played by his promoter doesn't mean Ward will allow that to happen to himself - lots of upsides that need to be negotiated - merchandise/ over seas revenue split / sponsors / site fees / venue availability / purse and if you guys really studied the sport - this rematch is happening as fast as Mayweather / Maidana
Mayweather / Costillo
Barrera / Morales
And many more , comment with facts instead of hatred and bias
Ward vs Kovalev II will be another boring fight and it will be another flop.
Casual boxing fans couldn't name more than opponent on his resume and even hardcore fans can't name any of his last few opponents.
Rigo should have moved up to 122 and fought Loma just like GGG should have moved up and fought Ward. Ward is being humble.
Loma is the lb for lb best fighter in the world and Ward/Kova are second and third. Loma has moved up divisions and totally destroyed the best in every division.
Wow, loma is now superman. He will destroy Klitshko for sure.
Well wasn't it Rigo that refused to fight Loma, when Loma gave him an actual offer? Nice way to spin it I guess.
And let's not fool ourselves, Rigo got hurt and knocked down by some bums in Japan, he's not so invicible as y'all say he is, he plays it safe for most part, but he can get hit. A bigger, stronger fighter in Loma would most likely knock him out. Great big fighter beats great small fighter, We will never know that for sure because Rigo didn't want his biggest payday lol
Next your gonna tell me Brook was giving GGG a beating???
"Went up through Brooks gums, his front teeth, moved an eye to one side and then sorted out the fracture".
