            Valiant effort from Clarkson, but that was an ass whooping! Bivol is interim WBA champ, would like to see him get a shot at Cleverly for the regular title.

                        Great performance. That was for the interim LHW championship though? There are wayyyyyyy too many belts in boxing.

                        Anyhow, looking forward to more Bivol.

                            Hahaha. There are so many potential good match-ups coming up over the next few years at 175. Excited to see how the division shakes out in the aftermath of Kovalev/Ward 2.

                                no, he was already interim WBA champion...now hes in line to fight for Cleverlys WBA title next...

                                    Yes, the fact that he's carrying a belt is silly. That's no comment on the man, it's a comment on the alphabet orgs.
                                    And, the fact that Cleverly has a belt is another. The proliferation of titles in boxing makes the WWE belts almost seem legit.

                                        Dmitry Bivol continued his rapid rise in the light heavyweight division Friday night. The unbeaten Russian knocked down Samuel Clarkson three times and beat him by fourth-round technical knockout in Oxon Hill, Maryland. The 26-year-old Bivol (10-0, 8 KOs), the interim WBA light heavyweight champion, drilled Clarkson with a short right hand that floored Clarkson around the midway mark of the fourth round at MGM National Harbor.
