Erislandy Lara vs Paul Williams is always the first fight I think of when I think robbery. That decision was so bad they actually suspended the judges which is some sh^t you never hear about commissions doing despite it being something that should be happening more often.
Which of these fights was the clearest robbery?

The only actual robbery there is Campillo-Cloud. As much as I want to say Froch-Dirrell as well, I can see how Froch got that decision.
Every other fight on that list is not a robbery.Comment

You know, we're probably close to the point in time where new fans haven't seen that fight and use it against Lara in arguments, claiming he lost to Paul Williams.Erislandy Lara vs Paul Williams is always the first fight I think of when I think robbery. How about Sam Garr vs Matt Vanda? Or Chris Byrd vs Fres Oquendo?. Lesser known but still robberies (especially Garr getting ripped off in Minnesota against Vanda who was 31-0 at the time).Last edited by Gillie; 04-14-2017, 09:26 PM.Comment

That is a terrible list of robberies considering in most of those fights the boxer who deserved to win did win. In my opinion GGG beat Jacobs by 2 points. Canelo beat Lara by 2 points. Froch beat Direll by 2 points. Brook beat Porter by 2 points.Peterson beat Khan by 1 point. The Pacquiao vs Marquez fights were very close and could have gone either way. The closest thing to a robbery on your list is Ward vs Kovalev. I had Kovalev winning by 3 points and that's not really a robbery, just a very bad decision. I didn't see Cloud vs Camillo. Most of the robberies on your list weren't robberies at all. The right boxer won the fight. The boxer you wanted to win didn't win so you call it a robbery when it wasn't a robbery at all.Comment
