Had solido winning a razor thin decision I think if Loma would have turned it up a round or two earlier he would of won the fight.

Close but clear for Salido, but I also felt that Loma would have won an immediate rematch with a slight gameplan adjustment

Wait what? I didn't even know some considered this debatable. Salido won but Loma is MILES better than he was then and that loss was actually good for him in the long run
Edit:Forget what I said, it's the usual suspects spewing their bias and hypocrisy

It was a dirty fight that Lomachenko basically lost due to lack of activity. He finished strong and looked like he hurt Salido late, ultimately it was too late.

Salido landed far too many low blows but not much you can do when the ref is counting them as landing blows. In the grand scheme of things Lomachenko learned far more than he would've had by dominating Salido. He realized how different the pro game is from the amateurs and how to adjust physically.

Shocking that the poll is so close. Losing this fight is not a huge negative mark on Lomachenko's prowess as a boxer, and yet some people feel the need to overstate his performance in the fight.

I'd pick Loma hands down to win a rematch but he lost that night. Just how it goes some times when you take risks like that.

Lomachenko got taught how much different the pros are from the ams that night. Sometimes you gotta be ready to get dirty to pull out the win. Solido was rough and ugly but he got the win. No shame in that. He's a tough guy for anybody.
