I think he wants a couple more good paychecks to secure his future and I hope it works out for him. Just seems like a dangerous idea to jump weight classes, after a long layoff, at 34.

Looking forward to this win or lose, Lucas always turns up to fight and with the exception of Postol, none of his other opponents have really been the same after facing him IMO. Particularly his opponents following the Judah and Alexander decisions.

Great replay value with his fights as well (my favorite is probably Ajose) which I hope continues at 147 as Lucas was starting to look a little "dry" when making weight at 140.

I think boxing needs humble guys like Lucas to balance the fighter/businessmen ratio for fans.

      Good luck Lucas.

Most over rated guy ever. Let him get a win and then he'll get ktfo again. Pistol should use him as a comeback fight.

I like Matthysse, but Taylor is no wimp and he can box. He might be the sand in the gears that stops the machine...once again.

that's weird considering maidana beat matthysse three out of the four times they fought (the fourth fight was a draw) when they were amateurs. too bad they never fought when they were pros that would have been sick.

I heard that they were very close fights and the one that i watched was indeed very close.

I think his plan is two more big fights, if possible. If not, just one.

I think he's looking for the Garcia rematch. Maybe if he beats Taylor, and with Garcia coming off a loss, the rematch is a posibility.

Matthysse should be easy for Garcia this time. Lucas is too small for 147.

                    Lucas words:

So yeah he wants Garcia after Taylor, or even Thurman. He wants another world title fight and says he'll earn it like he did everytime.
