Not only did Ward hurt Kovalev last time to such a degree, that Kovalev got scared of throwing punches and stuck his head out through the ropes to avoid further damage. But now, we could see at the press conference how scared and nervous Kovalev looked when close to Ward. Ward was smiling, cool and in control. Kovalev wanted to shake hands, Ward wanted none of that.
