He contradicts his criteria when including Rigo : says they have to be consistently fighting the best..how has Rigo done that? he talks about Keith Thurman no mention of Gonzalez whos been fighting the best since 08..now these guys come on the scene in 2017 and they are P4P?! WACK.

Yea, I think people expect boxers to be authorities on rankings but he's got several kids and he's probably not even keeping up on this stuff like hardcore fans are. I had the same reaction you did about the Rigo thing after he said that whole preface. Rigo is amazing but he's done nothing in years.

It's a twisted list tbh but I can understand it given his own position with rivalries with GGG, Kovalev and the Eastern European wave he is up against.

Ward's not ******, if he wasn't personally involved in the issue he would be able to put together a fair list.

Before watching the video I had a feeling that I was not going to agree with his list because its become common to me that people in the boxing industry are not knowledgeable on the sport they are engaged in -- irony is not?

In the case of Ward being a commentator he along with Jim Lampley and mostly Max Kellerman are without excuse for their ignorance. Max Kellerman is the worst : when Gonzalez made one of his early defense on HBO I think it was vs. Arroyo Max interviews 'Chocolatito' and ask him to paraphrase ' Hey you weigh over 120 tonight how about you fight Rigo? ' keep in mind he was fighting that night as a flyweight! nvm 115-118 so basically the guy who starts off at straw-weight should go as high as six divisions for a 'challenge' because there was nothing at the bantamweight divisions for him, OH WAIT! then came Cuadras, Rungvisai.

Based on his criteria you have to wonder why he has Rigondeaux on there. He has literally one win... and it was 4 years ago.

I guess Rigondeaux is the only guy that can live off one victory his whole career.
