    The Ward-Kovalev 2 build-up has been sensational

Seriously. I am all over every video coming out so far. When was the last time we had a build up this intriguing and intense? Where there is absolute, genuine spite between the camps - none of that Eddie Hearn over-blown phony stuff. This is the real deal. You can see it in both fighters mannerisms, looks, words.

James Prince talking about loose tongues and the consequences of that. Kov bringout out his famous "I like to bring pain on my opponents" line.

BOTH fighters are in each others head. Both are confident, both are p4pers, but totally different personalities - Kov is a sadistic, brooding presence, who has dropped the good boy broken English talking and reverted to Russian. Ward the articulate control freak, constantly prodding at Kovalev and his haters.

    It is absolutely brilliant.

A truly angry Sergey Kovalev is a scary and dangerous fighter. If Ward wins again, it will be even more impressive than the first time. I can't wait, this is amazing.

I wish Kovalev always played the villain, but he's a genuinely mean dude who plays a great villain.

Kovalev is sadistic. I don't think he's a nice guy. I also don't think it's a good strategy to p*ss him off. I don't think Team Ward are playing this one correctly.

I am glad for the boxers if the build up makes them more money. I hate waiting. I hate reading posts from Ward fans saying how easily he will beat Kovalev in the rematch and how Ward cannot lose. I wish the fight was tomorrow and that goes for the Canelo-Chavez fight.

This is a rare case of bad guy vs. bad guy in boxing.

            Villain v Villian
