I've been a GGG fan since 2013 when he beat Curtis Stevens, but hell this **** he has been pulling is starting to get on my nerves. How can you ****ing pass up a title for the UNDISPUTED MW champion. A freaking title that hasn't been on anyone's name since Jermain Taylor in 2006.

I'm still waiting to get a clear picture of what's going on here, but right now it's looking like it may be an epic fail. I'm getting the impression that ish is going on behind the scenes though - BJS seems to have gone a bit quiet which I'm assuming means Warren's muzzled him for some reason... why, though is a matter of speculation. If GGG has picked up an injury it could be Loeffler's playing for time - maybe hoping Astana can be postponed, or maybe they are just putting their eggs in Oscar's basket, which would be naive IMO, but I ain't gonna second guess without more info.

Anyhows, yeah, the situation is frustratingly opaque right now, but if they let both the undisputed title and the Canelo fight slip somehow, Loeffler should hang 'em up.

The logic is that Saunders will not lose the belt between now and ever, because he isn't willing to risk it against anyone who poses a legit threat. If GGG can beat Canelo (providing he can get that fight), then he can focus on Saunders. Even if someone comes along and takes Saunders belt, GGG still stands a good chance at beating whoever that is. As far as I know, Canelo is still the lineal champion at 160 and holds the Ring belt as well (I know that doesn't amount to anything), so there is still something more than just money to be gained if he can defeat Canelo.

Agree with you, although like Koba said, it's very strange that both Warren and BJS are quiet. It does sound like there's more to the story. If there isn't any more information, then yeah, it's a big fail by K2 and he needs to get rid of them.

Between Oscar crying about a June Fight for GGG, Warren saying GGG was injured, now GGG seemingly not fighting in June (what happened to 4 fights a year?), this is getting crazy.
