James Prince "we've cracked the Kovalev code", Virgil hinting that Kov's will has been broken. If you look at the fight, wouldnt Kovalev have been going to finish Ward? All of a sudden Kov started initiating clinches to avoid fighting on the inside. so the bully with the tough talk, just gave in and gave up to Ward. Mental edge to Ward. And Kov knows and Andre knows it. Kov changed up his whole training camp from the last one vs Ward. If he truly believes he won, WHY WOULD YOU CHANGE ANYTHING? If Ward was "Scared", why did he get up and fight for 10 additional rounds? Bullies try to intimidate people into being scared and Ward took his best and got up and punked the bully. Which is why they say the things about Kov "Kitty Kov" "Cracked his Code" "his will being broken" Kov is already beaten.

It irritates the hell out of me that folks sit up here are argue over who won. The judges called it for Ward. I also had him winning....

A few of the same people pitching Kovalev won are also some of the same folks saying Manny won against Floyd. No, it was not as close a contest as Kov/Ward but still...my point is made there.

At the end of the day, Kovalev doesn't have the boxing skills that Ward has. And now that ward has been in the ring with this dude already, it makes the fight that much easier for Ward. Kovalev will not be any different from the first fight, and perhaps he feels like that is enough. What I do know, is that boxers with high ring IQ such as Ward, will make additional adjustments in the 2nd fight (As did Floyd in both his rematch fights) to make it a much clearer victory.

I like Kovalev. I still want to see him beat down Stevenson (Stevenson is a simple 1-trick pony in my eyes), but I'm calling it early- and bookmark my post- 8 Rounds to 4, Andre Ward- And STILL....

Kovalev was robbed we all know it. Ward was schooled all night and badly messed up look at the guys face. The rematch Kovalev will go for the kill early he now knows the cards aren't to be trusted in America the land of the protected fighters by any means necessary.

Kovalev known as the punisher and the guy who destroys opponents, considerably slowed down. You literally saw him getting hit to the body and slowing down. This has never, EVER happened before. This is a psychological move that gets to the judges and says, maybe Ward is beating him. I definitely think the body work was the key to changing the fight in the 2nd half. Kovalev just did an interview with him admitting that he was overtrained...I call it an excuse but we can he admitted. However, I still had it a 1 point fight with Ward barely getting it. so no robbery...the judges had the score right. 1 point can go either way.
