  • Is Stewart Wrong For Saying Juarez hits harder than Pacquiao?

He said this during the fight last Saturday. He said that Pac's punches are weaker than Juarez's because you can see it coming and he also said that Pac only throws 1-2's despite praising Pac's adjustment in the 2nd fight against Terible last February. I basically think Stewart don't know what he's talking about. That or he's in love with Juarez or likes discrediting Pac all the time.

No i agree. Juarez does hit harder. Pacman will just hit you untill you hit the canvas or give up. But Pacman hits hard. Just not harder than Juarez.

Pacquiao dropped Barrera 3 times, but one didn't count. I think that's a good indication on who hits harder. Besides, Juarez hit Barrera many times with powershots and like I said, never dropped him.

I agree. Pacman gave Barrera a one-sided beating for 11 rounds and his face did not look like the way Barrera's face looked after 12 rounds with Juarez.

you can make a case for it ... but i have to go with pac in this one ... pac can rock you w/ his feet not under him, not so for juarez - and pac just scares people w/ that left hand, its crucial.

the fact that pac put barrera on his ass has more to do with the fact that he is not hesitant to let his hands go

he knows what he can do and is a much more confident fighter than juarez

juarez seems to sit and wait to thro the left and has landed on and hurt opponents who never saw it coming

Pacman is faster than Juarez IMO. Barrera ain't see Pacmans punches coming. (Exspeacialy that left hand that dropped him for the 1st time) If Juarez would have put more pressure on Barrera i think he could have Ko'ed him.

Yea Pacman droped Barrera 3 times but those are from accumalating punches. Well i will have to say that i think Juarez hits harder. Pacman is just to fast and he is a southpaw.

thats not really a good indicator of power - those KO's from pac are because he lunges in there and when fighters see that left coming, they only have one millionth of a milli second, to put their hands down by their asses to cushion the fall to the canvas.

but i still think that with that body of work that hes had, and the body work he put on morales, you gotta give this to pac.

actually, the more i think about it ... steward does make a case.

I just think sometimes that Stewart discredits Pac. Stewart dislikes those slugging fighters who forgets about the school of boxing. Stewart hates Mayorga and I bet he doesn't appreciate what Pac does in the ring. He said in the 2nd fight of Morales vs Pac that the adjustment of Pac was amazing and in this Juarez vs Barrera fight, he again insisted that Pac only throws 1-2s in the fight. This guy sucks.

                    Steward said this ?

I think the difference in power is the speed of Pac's punches. YOu cant see his punch coming. I honestly think Pac hits harder. Juan Manuel Marquez ? Morales ? Barrera ? even Juarez couldnt floor Barrera. I have never seen the likes of JMM , Erik Morales and Barrera floored that many times in any of there fights and these guys have fought top level opposition. Juarez hits hard though , I've seen him drop other guys from that one single left hook.
