Well not to completely take sides here, Canelo called GGG into the ring after being the latest to KO Khan to pretty much tell him he is ready and then vacates his belt and moves a division down. Basically handing GGG his belt without a fight. Up until recently I believed Canelo wanted the fight and had (has) a good shot to win, but lately it seems not only Oscar but Canelo too has every intention to avoid this fight. I seriously hope I am wrong but it does not look like it.

I don't know how many times I've posted this. Canelo vacated so he wouldn't be forced to negotiate under the WBC rules. Not for any other reason. It was a smart move by Canelo. Ggg doesn't deserve 45 percent of the pies if all he brings is the forks... Canelo bakes the pie brings plates napkins and beer... hope this makes sense

Point is why call him out if you were not ready? What was the point for that? To "marinate"? To act hard and then fail to follow through? Why take another fight if it was not being "forced" at that point? Why go 4 pounds over the MW limit when he "needed" to grow into a MW less than a year before this fight with Chavez was made? GGG is the MW king they should just keep Canelo below that weight until the man retires rather than act like they want that fight. Bottom line.
