No wonder HBO is trying to get out of this profit-less sport, not to mention the massive inactivity going on in the Haymon camp.

I'd rather see promoters make more money than one or two greedy ass fighters. Promoters have nowhere else to go but reinvest and make more fights. Fighters would just retire and spend their money on strip bars.

The fight will at least make $200 million......

Floyd will get a guarantee $100 million. Probably split the other portion 50/50 which would give Connor $50 mil and White wants $40 mil of that leaving Connor with $10 mil which it should be the opposite with Connor getting $40 mil. Will see what happens.

People do get real defensive when you expose the truth about them and they resort to name calling. WTF does Jeff Mayweather have to lie for?

Jeff is right, though. Don't know if he should've said it, but he's right.

You'd rather see promoters make more money than fighters? WTF?

While most of us look forward to fight night for the actual fights you must be telling yourself "Oh man! I can't wait till Saturday, Bob Arum is going to promote the hell out of that card! :wank:"

No matter how you slice it, Floyd is the A side and McGregor will never get as much as Floyd. PPV numbers don't lie

Wow. I don't understand this way of thinking at all.

Just goes to show that fans only care about their own entertainment. The average person never puts the same level of scrutiny on the behavior of organizations as much as they do for individuals.

This is one of the reasons I'm against the centralization of boxing under any one authority. As confused as boxing is- I prefer it over monopolozized organizations like the UFC. You can't do or say anything Dana doesn't like or you will be sat and forced to starve. There is no major competing organization that you could realistically sign to either. So you pretty much have to be happy with the level of compensation that is available.

That has got to be the dumbest statement I have ever read on the internet.

You'd rather watch old fat bastards get paid millions of dollars off of the blood, sweat, and tears of dudes who are risking their lives everytime they step in a ring?

                      For what?

And who's to say that they put all their money into promoting more fights? Who's to say that Bob Arum doesn't spend his money on bull****?

We already know what Oscar De La Hoya spends his money on.
