Lol, Canelo can't box and move, and he isn't up to the same boxing standard defensively as a Jacobs is even though Jacobs was being hit a lot.

Canelo would get KOed from the lack of ability of him to get away from the punishment and lack of ability to defend what is coming his way, It would be a brutal one-sided beating.

How can Canelo do more if he never gets in the ring with him?

It's nice that Canelo has new found confidence in his ability to beat ggg after the jacobs fight but there really isn't any comparison in jacobs style to Canelo. Jacob's is faster, moves better, is bigger and may even hit a bit harder. Canelo doesn't have the movement to do what jacobs did and if he tried, he'd gas out midway through the fight because anyone who's followed Canelo knows, his stamina in the late rounds is not the best.
        Jacobs most certainly hits harder
He moves on his feet much better
He has a better boxing IQ, more variation to his game
        Stronger on the inside tussle
Yep Jacobs definitely is better conditioned than Canelo too

Only thing Canelo really might have to go his way is he can rob a certain loss and turn it into a win If he lasts 12 rounds, he has a decent-ish chin, but that could still be up for debate because he hasn't fought many big punchers (he avoids them).

          We finally agree on something.

Canelo is going to win. A year ago I would have said differently.

Ring IQ and Defense are things NOBODY ever uttered about Jacobs before the GGG fight lol He was one dimensional brawler with bad defense and a glass chin. Now he shows how easy it is to out box GGG and make him look bad now these clowns acting like Jacobs is slick Pernell Whitaker type fighter? Phuk outta here. Canelo basically saying what Floyd did. "GGG easy, Straight up and down. No special effects". He can't fight off his backfoot, is slow as hell and terrible defense. The ONLY fighters who have ever given Canelo problems are guys who are elusive or flat out run from Canelo forcing him to chase them. GGG doesn't have that skill set. Canelo by nature a counterpuncher and guys who come forward play to his strengths. Canelo's Ring IQ much higher then Jacobs and damn sure dumb azzz GGG. Canelo sets fighters up, creates traps, can fight at multiple distances, kill you to the body or head, and even when he is in the pocket is EXTREMELY difficult to hit or hit cleanly. He doesn't run or use his legs to get away from punches but has excellent defense. Moves his head, uses shoulder roll to slip or pick off punches. And then unloads fast hands that force his opponents to reset and become a deer in headlights. Look at the Angulo fight.

GGG is too slow and can't adapt mid fight. He is NOT winning a tactical boxing match against Canelo. Cotto tried jabbing his way to a decision and ended up missing 500 punches as Canelo easily took that jab away and outboxed him. And Cotto is much more intelligent then GGG. GGG only chance is to try and knock out Canelo but will run face first into counterpunches. Especially the uppercut that Brook landed with ease which Canelo is better at and hits harder then Brook. Once GGG is close Canelo will rip him to body slip punches then unload combos that have GGG stuck in mud resetting/pausing. Easy work for Canelo.
