Ward didnt fight thats the problem. He was diving at kov all night after the 4th round and not actually fighting but holding. It was a disgrace to watch and for Ward to be the face of usa boxing truly is pathetic. Maybe in the ****** thats how you people fight, but boxing isnt what Ward does.

Kov did well the first 5 rounds and fell off...he was tired from body shots, pressing the action, and his punches didnt have the snap later in the fight

Kovalev is the puncher but he wins this fight by controlling the distance. Ward has to get inside and make it ugly, maybe get lucky with a head butt.
Kovalev can't get caught up in a wrestling match because Ward wants to be on the inside, where he can smother Kovalev's power.
If the Russian uses his superior jab to control the distance and set up the right hand, it's an easy night for him. Kovalev 8-4.

I've been a fan of GGG for years. Despite my current narrative, I always respected Ward for his achievements and still do. For his achievements, nothing else.

And yes, I hope Andre takes an L and retires after the fight. I've been saying that for months on here.
