Who should Tomasz Adamek Fight Next?

I think, the undefeated Adamek, should have a rematch against Paul Briggs. If you didn't see it, Adamek won by MD in 12, but the fight could have competed for fight of the year, very bloody, and amazing. Briggs has a fight against Jose Alberto Clavero June 16th, but after that, he should fight Adamek. Adamek is 30-0 with 21 KO's and is probably one of the best light heavyweights around, ranked 6th to be exact. A smaller Golota in the making, another Hard hitting Polish fighter, one of my alltime favorites. Who do you think he should fight next?

Why not Calzaghe?Although I really hope Tarver/Calzaghe pops off at the end of the year.......If Tarver beats Hopkins which he should.Yeah a Briggs rematch would be ideal too.

      Big fan off Adamek!

Seen tht Briggs fight was a awesome fight never got the hype it should have,

I believe we have alot more 2 come from Adamek and i believe he the next number1 man at light-heavy (Tarvers nearly 38 his best years are behind him).
I would not mind seeing Adamek facing Glenn Johnson or Tiozzo the WBA champion.
Maybe even facing Calzaghe somewhere down the line also tht would be a hard fight 2 call Adamek would give Calzaghe a alot off problems

He needs to unify the titles. Then he can lure some of the big names into a fight. As of right now, he's way too big of a risk for any of the US fighters to want to fight him. Tarver wants nothing to do with him, that's for sure. But if he can beat Woods and start unifying the titles, then he's got to get attention from the big names.

So the answer is Woods. Briggs would be a terrible, terrible fight for him to take right now. Why should he bust himself up and put himself in with a hard punching, tough fighter like Briggs AGAIN? That is probably the absolute WORST career advice he could get right now. He beat Briggs already in a war, now he needs to move on and fight Erdei, Woods, etc and I think he beats either of those guys. The only way he's going to get the attention of HBO and the US fighters is to unify the LHW titles. Once he becomes unified and recognized, then he should get some recognition and big fights.

I think that's because people fear him. I know, he's not exactly a big name yet, but look at his KO's and his record, he's going to be something big within a year, wait and see.

A number of us in the live crowd thought Briggs beat Adamek; from a fans or sportsmans perspective, he should fight Briggs again. If I was him, I'd fight whoever Don King could get me a decent payday against. There is very little interest in the lightheavyweights outside of Tarver, Johnson, and Jones, none of who hold a major belt, and none who would probably think they could gain anything by fighting Adamek.

I can't remember, it's been almost a year - but I think I scored it 115-114 for Adamek (the Briggs fight) - though a number of other spectators clearly disagreed. The way I worded that made it look like I saw it Briggs' way though, so here's the clarification (smilie)

well nobody but briggs seems to have the balls to fight adamek.........so the obvious choice would be to fight briggs....let's see what happens!
