Vitali talked about when he watched lewis win his world title is that he would dream on beating him. And that when he watched lewis become undisputed, he would become taking his crown. He also said that he fought the fight a thousand times in his head and woild not go to sleep in the night because je kept on thinking how he would see lewis in the canvass and how the announcer wouls say the words "and the new undisputed heavyweight champion."

Then the results happen. What a devestating loss for Vitali that was...

Floyd/Manny. Actually it isn't in this case because NSB, in theory, is comprised of people that love boxing enough that they joined the site and contribute to the forum.

To watch Manny have to have Koncz tell him what to say (and to rub the correct part of his arm), to watch Bob and Freddie, and then to see all the threads and comments, especially after Floyd retired, indicates this loss was extremely devastating.

This was the biggest fight in a generation. This fight caused a lot of discussion, fighting, arguing, much of it disgraceful, racial, and nationalistic, for a very long time. As you can see many of the diehard Manny fans just can't let the loss go.

Lewis was a great fighter but I believe Vitali would have knocked him out had he not been cut. I don't mean to take credit away from Lewis's win. Lewis cut him up with good punches. Vitali was younger and in better shape and Lewis was running out of gas. Vitali was hurting him more and more each round.
