Mark Breland had a weak olympic games when Cuba and Russia didn't went and he still was booed many times by his home crowd in addition to standing eight counts during one of his fights.
Lomachenko also won two world championships and one silver, Breland only had one.
And Lomachenko beat two olympic champions in Concencaio and Fazzlidin.
So yes, Lomachenko is one of the best amateurs and only double or triple olympic champions have an argument against him.

Vasyl will make Mikey Garcia look mediocre. He's a once in a lifetime fighter. Enjoy it while you can boiz.

I don't get why people are talking about Rigo.
I don't mean to talk down Rigo's talent. He obviously has plenty of that. But he is too little, and he is old - actually more like ancient for a small fighter. I can't see it being a positive step for Loma to take the fight. Rigo brings nothing to the table. No belt, no money, no audience, and only a few of his fans would be impressed if Loma beat him.
I think Rigo would get a lot more out of a fight with Loma than Loma would get.
Loma has better options. Rematching Salido would please a lot of people, even if plenty of others would see it as a bit pointless. Collecting belts at 130 is always gonna be a good thing to do. Or make the fight with Mikey Garcia.
Fighting Rigo might have made sense at one point, but that was a while ago. It makes little sense now and it makes less and less sense as each day goes by.
