Geographically? I live in Asian part of Russia, next to border with China, it's more Asia than countries like India, for me West coast of America and any asian country is much closer than any east european country or even Moscow. I'm more exposed to chinese culture than cultures of Poland or Hungary

Culturally? Russian culture is completely different from Eastern european one

Ethnically? There's no such ethnicity as eastern europeans

"Eastern europeans" is such a broad generalization for fighters coming from Soviet school of boxing. I don't have anything to do with Eastern Europe
