Would Floyd beat Maidana in his 2nd fight?

Maidana that he fought later in his career, experience and skill wise, but "scaled down" according to Floyd's earlier weight.

P.S. Please dont make this one into Maidana >> Salido. I am just curious to see what people think.

Oh you mean Floyd's second pro fight? No, he would not then again Mayweather was much younger, much less experienced and he didn't have teh skillset a 29 yo Loma has so its not a fair comparison.

He didint have Loma's experience, but he did won almost every amateur competition - disputable olympics.

How about Floyd after 18 fights and winning the lineal?

What May did as an amateur is still very limited to the amateur careers of many, many fighters in boxing. So it's not even comparable with Loma.

In terms of 18 pro fights, when he beat old man Genaro (who was a pretty basic fighter anyway) I just don't know. may would've been more mobile back then than he was in 2014 or whenever the Maidana ifght took place but like a lot of defensive fighters, he suffered against sluggers and I think Maidana would make it tough for him.

May probs gets a close decision.

Forget about 2nd fight...i thought floyd lost to castillo in his 28th. Castillo is better than salido, but it's a fair comparison considering where they were in their careers and the fact that both were rugged fighters.
