Lomachenko is a good fighter but I see weakness, he relies too much on energy

Loma is a great fighter that loss by Salido was just a road bump in this guy's career. He's probably the most technically gifted fighter at the moment. If he fights Salido again he wins a clear unanimous decision.

      Body shots

Let me fix that; 'blatantly punching him in the balls 50+ times.

Not exactly a big weakness to use energy... lol

Loma is an excellent fighter with tons of energy and excellent skills. Here's the down side. He is not a natural and he is not instinctive. His skills were honed through repetition and he only knows one way to fight. He has no plan B. He fights the same way every time out. I could be wrong but I don't think that he has the mindset to make adjustments if a fighter cracks his code and breaks his rhythm. That remains to be seen.

You are aware that this was his first professional fight? Since then he has improve at a rapid pace. How many fighters do you know go 12 rounds for their first professional fight ?

Right now though, he makes it work amazingly well.
I could see Loma hanging it up far earlier than other fighters as well. He just seems like the kind of guy that could and most likely will accomplish an incredible amount in the sport in just a few years and go out on top despite being able to fight on at a slightly lesser level (think Pacman).

This is the problem nowadays. A guy loses one time and people just obsess about it. I actually thought it could have gone either way. In the end, Loma has improved plenty since then. Seven straight wins including GRJ, Walters and Sosa. The man is golden. If you're going to point out flaws in his game, why not use a more recent fight? No one looks that special in their second pro fight.

I can see some resemblance with Floyd or RJJ but not ward.

floyd, rjj, loma dont rely on holding and clinching. they are much more pleasing to an eye... much more.

An uneducated eye, yes. Ward does little "holding". What he does do is a tactical clinch that involves a lot of actual fighting on the inside.
That has nothing to do with my original point though so try to stay on topic.
