Not here to discredit Gvozdyk but did anyone else feel like there was something off with González? He was looking fine then starting in the second he started getting moved by every other shot and looked sluggish. Idk man something seemed off to me.

This guy went thru a brutal war with Pascal without a problem and today he looked so weak and sluggish. It didn't make any sense to me tbh.

    Props to Gvozdyk though!

I felt the same way as you did. While I was very impressed with Gvozdyk skills (hand speed & movement), it seems like Gonzalez went from "live dog" to "shop worn" in a "split second".

I was texting my boy and all I could say was "WTF?" I had 0 explanation. Lol

I'm glad I'm not alone though.

He was getting his picture taken. One big flash after another. Once Mr XYZ started landing combos, yeah, he looked real sluggish.

Mr XYZ is pretty accurate so the only thing I can think of is that he hits pretty hard plus accuracy.

              I really dunno, man.

Good fight.
I heard the commentators say something about Pascal, but I didn't pick up on it. I can't believe this was the same guy that gave Pascal hell. Pascal is shop worn, but still, Gvozdyk made it look so easy I would have never identified him as the same Gonzalez.

Cool performance. Maybe his most balanced effort thus far, I was impressed with his foot speed. I certainly don't recall that from any of his previous bouts.

You cannot blame that on Stevenson.

He boxed him, he used really good footwork. Gvozdyk (that's hard for me to write/say seven letters and one vowel..) created angles, got him off balance, then played him like a fish. The more Gonzalez struggled, the deeper he set his hook.

Only Spence is an impressive prospect in this Era.
