Gassiev is still a young boxer and his team should wait a few fights before Usyk because as he develops he may back up his power with a little more ringcraft that might catch Usyk out.

Lebedev is a better opponent for Usyk if the Gassiev fight fell through as Lebedev has had some wars and the speed of Usyk would give him fits.

Theres a couple of young Russian cruisers coming up that could produce some Superfights in the near future as well as the ones up there now.

Isnt there a super 6 type tournament coming up at cruiser?

We haven't seen Usyk in with someone like Gassiev yet, who will stalk him all night with bombs ready to detonate. Gassiev will definitely get hit a lot in that fight, but I can see it going both ways. Lebedev is one of my favorite fighters in boxing, I love watching him work. But I just think the size disadvantage for him against Usyk would be tough to overcome, combined with Usyk's boxing skills.

I really wonder how Usyk would do against Briedis, who is a better boxer than Gassiev but has similar power imo. Or Dorticos, who is big and long and can punch too.

Uysks angles will confuse anyone that big, none of them move like him or have a defense even close, he would decision both pretty decivily.

I actually want to throw 1 more guy out there. Usyk would tag him to death and drown him in the mid to late rounds if it gets there, but being a slow starter as we have consistently seen, I think it's possible Kudryashov could catch Usyk with something big in the first couple rounds and finish him off before he has a chance to get going
