Comments Thread For: Klitschko Warns of "Upgrades" Being Made For Joshua Fight

Former division rule Wladimir Klitschko insists he has made the necessary "upgrades" to help him defeat Anthony Joshua (18-0, 18 KOs) in their Wembley showdown. The 41-year-old will make his return to the ring following a 17-month absence when he takes on the unbeaten IBF champion in front of 90,000 fans at Wembley Stadium on April 29 with the vacant IBO, WBA super' belts also on the line.

Vlad has had plenty of time to do a good "upgrade" roid cycle for this fight. Rumor has it, Josh & Vlad coined the
      bill "Roid Rage" Wembley.

Jeeze.. many unfortunate choices of words in this fight build-up. At least he didn't say he would fuq him in the ring. :/

I don't wanna see you making up excuses then. Joshua is going to win this easily.

Lol, I know this will be Joshua's toughest fight so far. I actually saw video on Klitschko focusing on defense and studying Joshua's fights while practicing in the ring. Some of his movement on defense was stuff I never saw before from Klitschko.

So yeah I'm a little worried for Joshua. But I am hoping that Klitschko is too old now and broken down enough that Joshua can get by him.

The Heavyweight division needs a resurgence. It hasn't been the same since Lennox Lewis retired back in 2004. Over here in the U.S.A. ever since Vitali and Wladimir took over the Heavyweight division it's almost been non-existent on TV over here. They would show some of their fights on HBO but the ratings were really low. No one over here cared for either Klitschko. It's not to say that they are bad fighters, they are great fighters. Lennox Lewis was the last Heavyweight to have successfull PPV'S here.

So I just want the Heavyweight excitement back. 41 year old Klitschko isn't going to do that. He's going to retire soon. I want the new blood, Joshua, Wilder, Parker, etc.......to bring the Heavyweights back.

Moot point.. I make fun of Fury but I still gave him credit for pulling out a win..

Joshua is going to win this easily.
