it is cheating. its clear. just read the rules. why was henry akwindade dq'd if it was legal? you would think he would have filed a lawsuit and became hw champ if it was legal. so how do you explain that?

you just can't admit that the guys you like are cheaters because your admiration for them is more important than the rules. i think the rules are more important than seeing someone i like win. if kov ko's ward with a low blow im not going to pretend he won legit. yet if ward/floyd win with constant clinching, bending over etc...you call people sore losers for calling them out. you are more salty over people calling them cheaters than the actual cheating itself? thats dedication to being a fanboy.

Except he wasn't gonna stop Garcia. Garcia showed he can take a good punch. Smart fighters don't go looking for the knockout. If it presents itself they go for it but they don't go looking for it.

I get he probably didn't want to exhaust himself too much, but I feel the moment was right there. And with a guy like Floyd, he's so hard to hit you gotta take whatever chance you can get when you have him hurt. 99.9% of guys' only real chance of beating him is via knockout.
the fight was either fixed or mosley was just so terribly shot. he kept trying to throw the overhand right over and over instead of his best punch and the punch that floyd was open for which was the leaping left hook. it made no sense. then he started throwing arm punches 15 seconds after he had floyd hurt. looked very strange. then the rest of the fiht he stood there not throwing punches at all. looked strange.

smart fighters never go for the knockout. whats the point? if theres a 100 percent chance you will win on the cards why take a 1 percent chance that you could get countered and ko'd opening yourself up? just ride the fight out, clinch it up, do a little and keep it clos and you will win. oh this only applies to certain guys with certain repuations and status of course. dont try it if you are a b-side lol

My words and your words have completely different meaning. Going for the knockout means if you hurt or drop someone then you follow up. Looking for the knockout is going out there fighting like a ****** swinging wildly hoping to knock the guy out. At least the way I meant it anyway.

Thurman was out there to win not to knock Danny out. If by any chance he would had dropped Danny or hurt him then I'm sure he would had gone for it but that wasn't the case. Why would he try to press the issue when Garcia showed he could take a good shot and risk getting clipped himself?

so was kov and what good did that do him? some people have to go for the knockout because of the circumstances they are in. thurman, floyd, ward dont have to so they dont.

so when someone like larry says whats wrong with fighting smart and just winning it only applies to certain guys who fall within certain criteria. other guys who do the same exact thing will not get the same result.

Haha. Exactly. It's called "hit and not get hit"- not "not get hit" only.
