WHAT IS FOREMAN DOING!!! This is crazy! (Read on)

George Foreman is apparently hosting an 8 heavyweight elimination tournament where each fight is 4 rounds all in one night. The prize is 5 MILLION DOLLARS. He has HUGE names competing already like Byrd, O'Neil Bell, Briggs, and Sam Peter!! They have a new scoring system, use instant replays to examine headbutts, etc. Guys, this **** is insane and could really shake up boxing if it's successful!

I agree! I pick Byrd to win it as of now, but lots of guys potentially could. 4 rounds only really changes the fight plans though. This replay **** is wild. I don't think it would ever fly though. Boxing is built on a lot of traditions, and I don't think this sport is ever going to let replay come into it.

That would be awesome if they pitted Briggs and Peter against each other first round. Same with Bell and Steve Cunningham (who I forgot to mention in the first post). I would definitely pay to watch this

At first glance I thought this was ****** but then I realized this is very interesting.I would think that the bouts being scheduled for 4 rounds will benifit Peter and Briggs the most. The both have had stamina issues in the past and have more power early than late.On the other hand we have Byrd, Bell, and Cunningham.I don't know much about Cunningham as I have never seen him fight before.Byrd started slow against McCline before picking it up in the last half of the fight.I know that Bell has been behind on points and came back to win with a late round ko so you would have to think that this would hurt him as well. All in all this is a very interesting concept and I would watch of course.

Are the fights going to count toward a fighters record?

Yeah you bet it will. Any legal fight between two boxers will effect the boxers record.
