What time does this card start? In normal US east coast time...not that crazy don't make no damn sense UK, but fits perfectly into my watch combat sports all Saturday in New York, time.

Was very surprised to see Smith fail to make weight, then decided not to bother with the 1hr re-weigh. Therefore he can't win the belt.

Makes me wonder where he is at. This is a tough fight for him and to come in heavy and then dismiss the extra time. Interesting.

Wonder if he just wants the extra weight, feel fresher, less drained, or if he just isn't fully motivated after the Canelo pay day.

Some speculation that he did that to facilitate a move to Hearn and Matchroom soon.

Apparently Franks contract have a clause where they automatically extend by a year if they win a title.

Doesnt make much sense to me seeing as Warren has done pretty well by Liam and now has this BT Sport deal. At least see where it goes. Guys like Liam Smith would presumably be getting a big push to help create some names for Warren to put on BT.

He probably just misjudged the weight after a bit of a lay off. All Gallagher fighters cut a lot to squeeze down in weight

Nice card. Williams vs Smith should be great. I cant decide who to back there. A lot will depend on whether Smith actually struggled with the weight or if he is gonna come in a division or two bigger.

Havent seen much of Petrov, but im reliably informed that he is a decent fight for Flanagan

Not huge on womens boxing, but Nicola Adams personality is infectious and i hope she does well. She looked a bit worse in Rio than she did in London so hopefully we dont end up with a Shiming situation with her

Hope this does well. Ive enjoyed the build up to this. Good mini series following the fighters on YT. Lots of interviews and pressers. No bull**** beef needed to sell the fight.

Warren is a big time promoter for all his faults and its good to see him with some real clout behind him again.
