Even before that his resume was trash. Maidana was a miracle win that keeps his resume up even today. The Devon win was good but the Maidana win is what made his resume. Besides that, Kotelnyk and Malignaggi were decent wins, but the rest is a fluke of a resume.

Brook shoulda let Khan have the lion's share. Brook would have a better chance against Khan than he does against Spence. Brook could have vacated fought Khan, win, and then be mandatory to Thurman for the belt he won from Garcia. But he couldn't swallow his pride and now he is going to have his career ruined by Spence. Having your eye socket broke against G and another brutal beating from Spence in his next fight, will not be good for his career.

Of course, Brook is a great fighter and he could surprise me and most others and beat Spence. I believe Spence is for real, but you never can be sure until he is in there with another top fighter. Broner and G are just two examples. Porter is another one, before Brook beat him some were even saying Porter would beat Floyd. I'm pumped for this fight!

lol even if 70-30 was offered, Khan wouldn't take it.

Trash is harsh. He fought who he needed to at 140 barring Bradley who was in a promotional battle iirc. Got some good wins that you mentioned. Can also feel hard done by with the Peterson fight (because of the drugs, not the scoring or the man in the hat).

'Win some lose some' is a normal thing to happen if you fight the top guys in your class regularly.

He obviously is no where near the fighter he thinks he is though. Decent world level fighter. Not elite.

I think he had a good resume at 140, not so much at 147.. He should be looking to get back in with better names at 147 after his hand surgery, I dont mind amir Khan doe, because he is always up for a challenge. The Brook fight didn't happen because of the split and they both moved up, now Brook is fighting a very very good fighter at 147 (Finally), hopefully Khan would be doing the same this year.
