That exercize he's doing is not only fking exhausting but it builds balance, which will indeed help his inside game. I fully believe that conditioning will be a priority for the rematch. Thing is, conditioning is not like technical ability where you can continue to build upon it. Everyone has personal limits and they dwindle with age. Have we seen Kovalev's max potential conditioning? We won't know until the rematch.
Also, what if he doesn't win those opening rounds and gets hit more? Or, if he cranks up the pressure but isn't effective? That will zap his stamina further.

Lots of Q's loom over the rematch. I think it will come down to gameplans and whoever is the better fighter that specific night. They're that close.

Lots of questions make this rematch so appealing. There are questions for both sides. Both have a ton to prove

I say all Kovalev has to do to win a rematch is to either trust his conditioning or to work on his stamina.

Of course he wil be in shape, just like he was in terrific shape for the last fight. I will say that preparation will be the key as to who wins. I see a lot of times in the gym how some trainers will push their guys to the unlimit. While that does need to be done, but you have to also know when to pull your feet from the gas pedal...so that you don't run out of gas...
whoever prepares there guy the best will win 9/10 times.

That is just one of many exercises he will do. He will also be running, jumping rope, punching the bags, shadow boxing, mitt work and sparring. This is a fight he really wants to win. He should be and probably will be in top shape.

That's for when coWard tries to battling ram Kov by leading in with his head as he comes in to bearhug him. Kov's gonna pick him up and toss him out of the ring so he lands 15-20 feet in the crowds.

You have no clue what he's doing do you ? Well with that light weight and doing those reps at that rapid pace he's working on the fast twitch muscles to improve his speed
