oh man, what is it with american fighters and getting their excuses ready for not fighting the best opponents?

Not trying to discredit his talent. I just don't understand why a lot of boxing fans want to see Crawford violating small guys like Loma and Gamboa, that's a bigger challenge for them than it is for Crawford. And like old past prime Pacquiao is the only good name at 147
These fights ain't happening, but I'm telling you that right now, doesn't matter if he would win or notLast edited by g27region; 04-05-2017, 10:47 AM.Comment

Who did Crawford fight that is so much better than Brook and Jacobs? You telling me Postol is on the same level as either of them? Before you tell me that Brook came up from Welter I'll remind you that Bud was four inches taller and walked into the ring at 152, against a guy who started out at featherweight."What does GGG have to do with it?" Well, GGG is ranked #1 P4P by ESPN, and he hasn't fought fighters much better (if at all) than the fighters Crawford fought, and he hasn't won titles at multiple weight classes like Crawford has. Yet, GGG gets much more respect than Crawford. Has GGG beaten someone that "resonates with the casuals?" I'm trying to understand your standards.
GGG is getting some publicity and recognition for his KOs and the buzz surrounding a possible fight with Canelo. Again, Crawford needs to put some names on his resume such as Broner, D. Garcia, Porter, etc., before he feels he is entitled to the same level of recognition as fighters who have been put to the test and maintain a clean image. Getting arrested for assaulting an auto mechanic or being in the middle of a girl-fight isn't helping. Needs to get his priorities straight.Comment

What does this have to do with welfare? Crawford said he won't get credit for beating two other boxers and you're saying he needs to get a job and get out of line for handouts! So from now on any time a boxer can says anything to promote himself its equivalent to his welfare mentality. Does that goes for Golovkin, Canelo, Rigondeaux, or just certain boxers?Comment

He's right. He'd get drowned in Pacquiao is too old and Lomachenko is too small comments.
Bet the same fans that begged for Loma-Rigo would not want Loma-Crawford.Comment

This dude walks into ring after rehydrating 20+ pounds
And wants to complain people wants to see him fight a guy he doesn't outweigh by 15 pounds or more.
Both Manny and Loma are much smaller than him.Comment

Yes it's absurd to anoint him victory over an all-time great who still happens to be ranked as the top welterweight in the world who can beat any welterweight not named Mayweather at the moment. Crawford has never even fought at 147 yet.
Roach said it's a tough fight but never said Crawford is too much for him. I agree it's a very tough fight for both guys but discrediting Pacquiao before they even step in the ring in my opinion is jumping the gunComment

You are a complete moron and unworthy of an actual reply. I dont even know where to start with this garbage you typedthey will say lomachenko is TOO small.
& they will say pacquiao is OVER THE HILL(which he is and has been for a very long time and thus the welterweight rankings dont include him as a top 147) he just has a name of beating fighters at CATCHWEIGHTS in his juicing prime and draining his opponents til they were shells of themselves so he beat NAMES not FULL FLEDGED FIGHTERS WITHOUT CATCHWEIGHTSComment

Not only was Brook a blown-up WW, look at his 3 previous fights! Even his win over Porter was not impressive. Jacobs is talented but so was Ricky Burns and Gamboa. When Postol schooled Matthysse, he was "a beast!" When he gets schooled by TC, "he's nobody." For some reason Crawford and Mikey Garcia can't get the same love that GGG and Loma get, and it's ****ing ridiculous!Who did Crawford fight that is so much better than Brook and Jacobs? You telling me Postol is on the same level as either of them? Before you tell me that Brook came up from Welter I'll remind you that Bud was four inches taller and walked into the ring at 152, against a guy who started out at featherweight.

:qqq: agreed!!!!!!Great observation. Today's entitlement mindset has fighters like Crawford thinking their stock is worth more than what they put into it. Calling out smaller fighters but avoiding the big dogs at 147. He almost **** himself when Max asked him about a fight with Spence. Loma and Pac took on monsters that everyone else feared, and did it convincingly. Pac has a better resume in three years than Crawford has his entire career thus far.
At 140 he should be calling out Broner, not someone at 130 or thinking he is entitled to a fight with Pac because they are in the Arum camp. Fight Khan or Porter at 147, then lets have a look.Comment
